Vicente M. Salumbides

Born in Guinayangan, Quezon, November 1913, belonged to the first seventh grade class of Guinayangan Elementary School. Graduated with honors at the Tayabas Provincial High School. Passed the Board Exam in 1940 after finishing law in Philippine Law School. He was appointed Justice of Peace, 1946 to 1986 for Tagkawayan Quezon.
Avelino Villafria
Lawyer/Soldier
University of the Philippines graduate in Law. Commisioned 3rd Lt. of the Armed Forces of the Philippines after graduation. Serving as office of the Philippine Constabulary with rank, Major at the outbreak of United States of America-Imperial Japanese War. He was killed in action in Baguio City at the height of battle between United States Arm Forces in the Far East and the Japanese Imperial Army.
Leovigildo Cerilla

Born August 20, 1926 in Guinayangan, last 7th grade graduate of the Guinayangan Elementary School, 1941. First Honors, finished secondary education 1948 at the Luzonian College and Obtained a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the Philippine Law School, March 28, 1954 passing the bar in same year.
A well known private practitioner in the province, with law office in Lopez Quezon, having married a public school teacher, Thelma Quincina with whom they have six offspring.
Pedro C. Pujalte Jr.

Born in Guinayangan in 1930 to Pedro Pujalte Sr. and Salome dela Costa. Obtained early schooling in the schools of Guinayangan. He is graduate of Manuel Luis Quezon, College of Law. He is a successful private law practitioner. He was married to Dr. Virginia Cuiching and blessed with six children.

Born May 3, 1927 in Guinayangan, finished the grade school at the Guinayangan Elementary School in 1941 and secondary at the Far Eastern University in 1949. He obtained his degree in Bachelor of Law (LLB) at Manuel Luis Quezon, passing the Philippine Bar Exam in 1956.
A private law practitioner for eight years, (1956-1964) was then appointed Election Registrar of the Commission on Election for Tagkawayan Quezon, San Narciso Quezon and Guinayangan Quezon. Later appointed Municipal Judge of the Municipal Trial Court for Tagkawayan Quezon and Calauag Quezon till his retirement in 1998

Guinayangan, Quezon locals must be very proud of these guys here! I also wanted a post like these from our local lawyers here in our province! Thanks for the post!
